Paradisaeidae is a family of birds native to the tropical island of New Guinea. Commonly known as “birds-of-paradise,” they are famed for their unusual manner of “dancing” to attract a mate. This bouncing dance involves an extravagant display of vibrantly-colored feathers that create special visual effects. Dance Paradisaeidae captures the bouncy character of this ritual.
