Masterclasses
In-person and online masterclasses for piano studios and schools of music:
Whether you're looking to enhance your students' technical skills, inspire their creativity, or simply provide a unique and enriching musical experience by a living composer, a masterclass is an opportunity for all to learn.
Typically, a masterclass features a small group of students; each performing a piece of music and receiving feedback as other students, parents, and teachers observe. In this way, each student receives individualized feedback pertinent to their performance but all benefit from listening and observing.
Feedback may include technique, interpretation, stage presence, and practice techniques.
Benefits for Music Schools/Studios:
Enhance Student Learning: Provide students with an encouraging and enriching experience.
Provide a Platform for Student Growth: Offer students a platform to showcase their talents and develop their performance skills.
Peer Learning: Observe and learn from the performances and feedback received by other students.
Professional Development (for teachers): Learn new techniques for addressing common student challenges, such as technical difficulties, interpretation issues, and performance anxiety
The Omaha Conservatory of Music had the great pleasure of hosting Elizabeth Borowsky for a guest-artist residency and educational workshops. Elizabeth oozes positivity, knowledge, and creativity.
We received rave reviews from our students, who participated in her performance master class and yoga for musicians session.
The breadth of Elizabeth’s experience cannot be understated. She is a gifted performer, composer, and pedagogue. In concert, she is stunning. The passion with which she conveys works of piano greats like Chopin and Liszt leaves an imprint on her audience that will not quickly fade.
We wholeheartedly recommend Borowsky as a guest artist, performer, master class or camp clinician, lecturer, or composer.
Brava, Elizabeth!

Yoga offers powerful opportunities to address the physical, mental, and emotional challenges musicians face.
It’s a physical activity accessible to every age and fitness level, and is thoroughly embraced by professional musicians. The best part? You can do it anytime, anywhere, and without any special equipment.
As a musician and certified yoga instructor, I teach yoga from the musician's perspective.
In this 60-minute workshop, you will learn essential postures that stretch, strengthen, improve mental focus, increase breath control, prevent injuries, and bring ease to your practice and performance. Learn a repertoire of "ah-mazing" yoga that will last a lifetime!

Create full-color, illustrated stories through sound.
The greatest musicians have been lauded as magicians: they transport their audiences on an epic adventure without leaving their seats. Their sound takes you to another dimension. The melodies, harmonies and rhythms serve as characters, scenery and chapters in the limitless worlds of your imagination.
Learn how to make your performance powerfully communicative and positively memorable.
Crafting a powerful sensory experience for your audience is where true artistry comes into play. This masterclass focuses on developing mental imagery and refining the art of communicating it, both through sound and stage presence.

Your stage presence might just make or break your next performance.
Don't get me wrong. The practice, the notes, the phrasing... they still count. That's your product. But your presence, your energy, your posture, the way you walk, talk, and bow... that's the packaging. Like it or not, that packaging is an expected and critical part of your audience's experience. Having performed as soloist in over 35 countries, coached pageant contestants, and even performed for royalty in Jordan, I know what it takes to own the stage and make a lasting impression.
A memorable performance starts the moment you walk on stage. Own it.
This hands-on workshop focuses on helping classical musicians feel confident, project ease, and communicate effectively with their audience. You’ll learn the do's and don'ts of life in the limelight, how to feel at ease on stage, and receive coaching on communicating effectively through your body language, your words, and your music.
