Flight of the Peri tells the story of a mythological Persian superhuman creature, trying to gain the trust of humans living in a small village. The humans have long perceived the Peri as being evil, but when it saves the village from attack, they finally come to see it as a good and kind creature. Exploring virtuosity and dynamic drama through a majestic opening, fast and furious middle section (in 3+3+2), and fiery closing, this work is a true showstopper!
